عضو اتحاد الأدباء والكتاب اليمنيين منذ 1996م. شاعر وقاص، لي مجموعة قصصية بعنوان (الذبابة) وديوان شعر بعنوان (صباح نيكول الجميل). اهتماماتي الأدبية تتضمن رسم الكاريكاتير وترجمة الأدب اليمني إلى اللغة الإنجليزية. رئيس تحرير مجلة (غيمان) الأدبية الفصلية المتخصصة، والتي صدر عددها الأول بداية عام 2007م.

I am a member of the Yemeni Writers Union. I am the Chief Editor of Ghaiman, a specialised literature magazine published by the Poetry House in Yemen.

I have been publishing poems since 1990. I write modern Arabic poems. Nicole's Beautiful Morning, my first poetry collection is under publication.

I also write short stories. I have been publishing short stories since 1995. The Fly, my first collection of short stories was published in 2000.

The Last Train Has Stopped

The last train has stopped at the last platform. No one is there
to save the roses, no doves to alight on a woman made of words.
Time has ended. The ode fares no better than the foam.
Don’t put faith in our trains, love. Don’t wait for anyone in the crowd.
The last train has stopped at the last platform. But no one
can cast the reflection of Narcissus back on the mirrors of night.
Where can I write my latest account of the body’s incarnation?
It’s the end of what was bound to end! Where is that which ends?
Where can I free myself of the homeland in my body?
Don’t put faith on our trains, love. The last dove flew away.
The last train has stopped at the last platform. and no one was there.

My God..
I seek refuge in you from the evil of myself,
From the evil of my people,
Form the evil of my good friends,

And from the evils of what the spitfulls had written.

I will confess now I cheated the sparrows,
